About two weeks ago, lots of people began pointing me toward a video on TikTok. It was from an account called @noproblemgambler, but it had nothing to do with gambling. Instead, it featured a guy talking to the camera and explaining how he figured out exactly which real-world soccer game was briefly visible on a TV in an old episode of Lost.

In the course of two fast-paced minutes, the TikTokker spelled out the various small visual clues — mostly related to the uniforms and the stadium — that helped him crack the mystery and piece together which game it was. At the end, there was sort of an unspoken air of “Q.E.D.”
