After an unprecedented 17-game regular season, plus the playoffs and the obligatory off-week for additional hype, Super Bowl Sunday is nearly upon us, with the Rams and Bengals getting set to face off for the Lombardi Trophy.

The AFC is the designated home team this year, which means the Bengals had first choice in terms of what to wear. They opted to go with their black jerseys, white pants with orange stripes, and orange socks. The Rams — who are the technically the visiting team, even though the game is taking place in their home stadium — countered with their white alternate jerseys, yellow pants, and blue socks. The result is about as good a uniform matchup as we could have hoped for with these two aesthetically flawed teams.
